Buck Haxby is affordable modern flipper from Buck Folding Knife

The Buck Haxby isn’t going to win any knife awards. It also won’t break the bank. What it will do is the everyday tasks you ask of it, and all of that one-handed – and it looks good too.

The Buck Haxby features a 3.9” 7Cr stainless steel drop point blade with a satin finish. It’s not a fat drop point, but a nice, long slender version that’s .13″ thick. It’s a manual flipper that opens fast and accurate with the pull of the flipper tab.

The handles on the Buck Haxby are carbon fiber over stainless steel liners. It’s a linerlock with an red-orange accented pivot collar. The handle includes a lanyard hole and a removable, but not reversible tip-up pocket clip that matches the blade finish.

Buck HaxbyThis modern folder is 5″ closed and 8.9″ overall which makes it a good size (but slim) EDC folder. It weighs 4.5oz. and only costs about $37.
